Study Evaluationg The Safety And Efficacy Of Varenicline (Chantix) For Smoking Cessation In Healthy Adolescent Smokers
Varenicline (brand name Chantix) was approved as an aid to smoking cessation treatment in adults. The purpose for this study is to determine the safety, and tolerability of varenciline, for smoking cessation in adolescents who currently smoke tobacco. This is an investigational product for this study only.
With this study, we are looking for healthy male and female subjects between the ages of 12 and 19 years of age, who are motivated to stop smoking.
